International Data Corporation (IDC) is a world-renowned professional provider of market consulting, advisory and event services for the information technology, telecommunications and consumer technology industries. Its market tracking data in the IT field has become the industry standard. The digital transformation awards established by IDC are the first of their kind in the industry to recognize the efforts and achievements of various institutions, organizations and individuals in the context of the digital transformation economy, featuring forward-looking vision, impartiality and international influence. From five award categories at the first summit in 2016 to 14 categories at the sixth in 2021, the awards have extended their coverage and influence to China, the Asia-Pacific region and even the globe. Renamed the China Future Enterprise Awards in 2021, the 2022 IDC Future Enterprise Awards focused on nine dimensions of digital-first development: wireless connectivity-first, personalized customer-first, digital twin-first, edge data-first, domain intelligence-first, hybrid work-first, security and privacy-first, remote operations-first and software innovation-first. After rigorous evaluation by a jury of digital transformation experts and more than 530,000 public votes, 108 projects stood out from over 500 nominations.
Changhui's Digital Amoeba Project winning the "Future Operations Leader" Award is not only an affirmation of the company's persistent efforts in the practical implementation of the Amoeba Project over the past three years, but also a recognition of our commitment to the sustainable integration of digital technologies into the enterprise's operation and development, thereby realizing long-term corporate and social values. To organically unify the company's strategic planning, business objectives and action guidelines, Changhui has explored the path of digital transformation and actively introduced the Amoeba management model. Based on the company's existing informatization foundation and digital transformation requirements, we partnered with FineReport to launch an integrated "Consulting + System + Data + Report" four-in-one Digital Amoeba solution.
Centering on refining the organizational structure of business units in management, R&D, manufacturing and marketing, the project has built a value stream transaction model and implemented independent accounting. Through the actual vs. budget accounting mechanism and the business data trend analysis model, we have constructed a unified digital business analysis platform, realizing a closed-loop management of the enterprise from planning and execution to analysis and improvement. Moreover, relying on the unit time value-added accounting mechanism, we have established an organizational performance evaluation system and strived for the material and spiritual well-being of employees. In this way, we cultivate employees' business awareness and encourage their joint participation in enterprise operation improvement activities.
The 2022 IDC China Digital Transformation Awards gathered many outstanding domestic enterprises such as Sany Heavy Industry, Midea and Haier, as well as upstream and downstream industry peers of Changhui including SAIC-GM and Shaanxi Heavy Duty Automobile. It was an excellent opportunity for communication, sharing, learning and common progress.
